The vsmcodex is a methodology engine that calculates EU CBAM-compliant emissions reports against the Commission's regulatory framework. It is built as a citation-grade open-source library that auditors, regulators, exporters, and academic researchers can read, verify, fork, and cite.
The compound mark stands for Value Stream Methodology Codex, an extension of Sustainable Value Stream Mapping (Faulkner & Badurdeen, 2014) applied to embedded-carbon analysis on production lines. The Codex is the regulatory-compliance descendant of that academic lineage.
